No one is free until all of us are free.
Showing solidarity with each other is an act of love, care, and responsibility. To us, internationalism is more than a symbolic act of solidarity. We see our struggles as inherently connected to each other. That is why actions of solidarity are not enough - we need to unite our fights.
Below, we share some of our recent campaigns, organized in a decentralized way through the initiative of the diverse groups and movements connected to our Network.
Yanar Mohammed will continue to live in our struggles
The Network of Women Weaving the Future expresses its profound grief and outrage at the assassination of Iraqi feminist and human rights defender Yanar Mohammed, who was killed in Baghdad on 2 March 2026. Her killing represents a devastating loss for women’s rights movements in Iraq and across the world.

As the Network Women Weaving the Future, we call on everyone to mobilize in solidarity with the Kurdish neighborhoods under siege!
We urge everyone to stand with all of the communities - 'Alawis, Druze, Kurds, Christians - that are targeted by the reactionary contra forces brought to power by external powers who want to colonize and redesign the region according to their interests.
We call on everyone to expose these forces for what they are: an extension of Daesh and Al Qaeda, the brothers of the Taliban, the friends of all of the colonial special forces that have looted and destroyed the homes of indigenous peoples, past and present.
We call on all women and all internationalists, movements, and democratic forces to raise their voices and defend the revolutionary neighborhoods. Stand with the peoples of Kurdistan and Syria against fascism, rape culture, and imperialist and colonial warmongering!
Solidarity with the Baloch Long March
We invite all people — especially women’s and feminist movements as well as abolitionist, anti-racist, anti-colonial, and anti-capitalist movements around the world — to stand in solidarity with our Baloch sister comrades as they march and protest, demanding the abolition of enforced disappearances, extrajudicial killings, and army atrocities. In solidarity!
Rising up for women in Şengal and Afghanistan
Daily, women in Şengal, Afghanistan, and in many other parts of the world suffer the impact of genocide, occupation, and violence. It is time for us to step up our efforts to demand justice and liberation.
Earlier this month (August 2023), the Kurdistan Women’s Communities (KJK) Coordination announced the launch of a campaign in solidarity with women in Şengal
and Afghanistan, calling on organized struggle around the world from August 3-15th. As the Network Women Weaving the Future, we made a call to join this campaign for freedom.
