The Network Women Weaving the Future started out with the joint organization of two historic international women's conferences.
Each one of the conferences was attended by more than 500 estimated 700 individuals, mainly representatives of different struggles, movements, and organizations from different countries and territories.
Together, on panels and in workshops, they discussed topics ranging from patriarchal and state violence, war, forced migration, economic exploitation, health, education, language, fascism, neo-colonialism, ecocide, knowledge, art, culture, and self-defense.
In February 2026, we will hold a regional conference in Abya Yala.

A bit more than a year after our 1st International Women's Conference, the Covid-19 pandemic spread around the world. the ways in which governments handled the crisis deepened existing inequalities and strengthened state repression and control. In that period, we organized a series of online events to continue dialogue and exchange between struggles.
